Besides weddings, my other job is mum to two beautiful but exhausting boys. If you’re also in the thick of toddlerhood then you know what I’m talking about. Most weekends, rain or shine, you can find my family taking long walks along the beach (oh, how original!) but when you live in a place as beautiful as Taranaki, how can you not be a beach lover?! My other true love (besides marrying people..and my husband) is CrossFit. Throwing heavy weights around is great training for all those chairs and bar leaners I’ll be setting up come your wedding day. As an ex primary school teacher, wrangling a large crowd is kind of my thing! I have a confident, loud “teacher” voice for organsing those group photos after the ceremony and have perfected the art of politely telling your drunk uncle that they won’t be doing a speech. I have a huge dislike for cucumber, people that cut in line and the song wagon wheel! (I’ll grin and bear it though if you choose it as your wedding song) .
